Sam These are nice mugs, lovely bone china with the design as displayed. The service was quick and they arrived in one piece. Where I thought they could be better was I had thought the 'gold' element would be reflective / metallic in feature, but it was just yellow. Kintsugi is mending with gold, and while I wasn't expecting this to be a repair with gold, I did expect the design to have gold/reflective qualities. I also felt the mug should have something on the bottom - company logo / dishwasher safe etc instructions, but it's just white. Finally, they came in 2 cardboard boxes taped together. For the price paid I had thought they would come in a nice box within the packaging. Overall, the product is fine and the design is nice, but not to give as a gift.
